What moves biik prices in Cebu

Before you buy a piglet

The DA Code of Practice for pigs sets weaning at 30 days; piglets under 6 kg should not be weaned without a vet’s reason (DA AO 41). Ask for a vet health certificate: in 2026 Cebu checks shipping permits, animal health certificates and ASF tests at the ports (SunStar, 24 Jun 2026).

Fattening from 10–15 kg to market weight takes four to five months (PIDS, 2022). Housing, feed stages and water per pig are in our backyard guide to raising pigs. Buying for a party instead? Read the lechon size guide.

Gepanaga’s Farm opens in 2027. You can already reserve weaned biik from our farm: a vet health certificate comes with every batch, and seasonal reservations take a 30% deposit. Delivery in Ronda and southwest Cebu; Cebu City by arrangement.
